The Family Resource Center of South Florida, Inc. recently hosted its Fourth Annual Foster Parent Appreciation Family Picnic at Tropical Park in Miami. More than 100 foster parents and kids noshed on barbecued chicken, hamburgers and hot dogs while playing games, doing arts and crafts. Every child received an age appropriate backpack with school supplies to kick off the upcoming school year.

For 13 years, Family Resource Center has held the Lawyers Strike Against Child Abuse Bowling Tournament to raise awareness of and funds for, the abused and neglected children in our care. This yearly fundraiser is sponsored by the Dade County Young Lawyers Section and brings lawyers and other professionals out to bowl and raise funds for the agency every June.
